The movemement of blood and blood derivatives require strict temperature control. Temperature required vary depending on the phase from point of donnation to delivery as blood products or derivatives to hospitals. Temparatures may range from 17°C to 23°°C  to  2°C to 6°C  during its transportation.

Escort has developed the iMINI PLus particularly of use for this application. A number of alarm features such as the Integrator Alarm as well as the Unlimited Bookmark capability allows the stricter control of blood products and blood banks.

As the transport of blood banks is delicate Escort can also provide special probes to avoid damage. IP Rating of Escort iMINI Plus is also IP 65 to allow desinfection of the data logger to avoid cross contamination.

Note that we understand the different needs at different phases of  control and therefore we are open to discuss custom made solutions as we can address different needs on this field.
